Tejas Web presents a ritual for the Summer Solstice
When: Saturday, June 21, 2008 7pm
Where: Shallow end of Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Park, Austin, TX
Admission: $3 to get into Barton Springs, $1 for children under 12 and Seniors over 62, $2 for children over 12
Parking: Take the bus! Car Pool! (It´s Saturday at Zilker Park!), Free Parking on the South side of Barton Springs Pool off of Robert E. Lee, Pay to Park $3
Tejas Web celebrates the Summer Solstice and the Power of the Sun at one of Austin´s best wet and cool places: Barton Springs Pool.
Gather in the shallow end. Participants are encouraged to wear attire for the water, although those who do not want to get their toes wet will be able to stand on solid rock. You may wish to bring a flower for the altar.
Join us as we honor the Sun at its height and work with that Power. We also join with the Lady of the Waters to keep us cool and hydrated in the hot days of Summer to come.
We will celebrate our power, sing, splash, and bless.
No drugs or alcohol please.
No previous magical knowledge required.
All ages are welcome.
